Terms of use
Last updated 23 August 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between you and the operator of VYRS.AI. You accept them by creating an account or by using the product. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
VYRS.AI is in closed beta. Access is by invitation, features change without notice, and the product is provided as it is.
Your lyrics are yours
You keep every right you already had in what you write here. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your lyrics, your ideas or your recordings, and nothing gives us a share of what you earn from them.
You grant us one narrow permission, and only for as long as you keep an account: to store your work, show it back to you, and send the parts you ask about to the model providers named in the privacy statement so they can answer. That permission ends when you delete your account.
We do not train models on your lyrics, and we do not let our providers train on them either. If that ever changes it will be a choice you make on your account page, not a line added to this document.
What you confirm when you write
Before anything you type is saved, you confirm the lyrics are your own work. That confirmation is what we rely on to store them at all, so it has to be true: you are saying the words are yours to write down, and that you are not pasting in somebody else's song.
Lines the co-writer proposes are yours to use, change or throw away. They are generated for you and we claim nothing in them. They are also not a clearance: see the section on originality below.
What the co-writer will not do
It will not write in the style of a named artist. Ask for one and the name is removed before your request reaches a model, and you are told that happened.
It will not reproduce lyrics from an existing song. Every line it writes is checked before you see it, and anything the check does not clear is withheld rather than shown.
Originality, and what it is not
The Originality Check compares your lyrics against the material available to it and reports possible matches. It runs when you press it and again, automatically, when you export. An export that is not clean is stopped, with the reason on screen.
It detects. It does not clear. A clean result is not legal advice, not a licence and not a guarantee of originality, and it cannot be: no corpus holds every song ever written, and the check against a licensed commercial corpus is not switched on yet. Deciding whether a song is safe to release is your call, and a publisher or a lawyer is the right person to ask.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account from the account page at any time. That removes your songs, drafts, versions and exports, and it cannot be undone. We can suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or to attack the service.
What we do not promise
The beta comes with no uptime commitment. Data can be lost. Keep your own copy of anything that matters: the account page will hand you everything you have written as one file, whenever you want it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost income, or for claims arising from a song you chose to release. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, including for death, personal injury, fraud, or intent.
Changes, and which law
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, you will be told before it takes effect and continuing to use VYRS.AI is how you accept it. If you would rather not, delete your account.
Dutch law applies and the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction, unless the consumer law of the country you live in gives you a right you cannot be asked to give up.
